went to check out sichuan gourmet in framingham the other day with a few friends.
hot and sour soup 酸辣汤
Roast Beef, Tendon & Tripe with Chili Sauce 夫妻肺片
this was the best thing of the night.
Fish Filets & Napa Cabbage w.Spicy Chili Sauce 水煮鱼
i wasnt a fan of this. way too much corn starch in the broth.
dan dan noodles 担担面
Chinese Eggplant with Basil 九層塔茄子
Sichuan Wonton w. Spicy Chili Sauce 紅 油 抄 手
Chengdu Spicy Dumplings 成都鐘水餃
Sweet & Sour Chicken 甜酸鸡
our only white friend had to order this and we couldnt stop him. he licked the plate and i didnt touch it.
Sichuan Style String Beans 干煸四季豆
this was bad as well. the green beans werent ‘gan bian’ well. they were rather raw/bland tasting.
Gangou Dry Fish Filet 干鍋魚片
this was underwhelming. the batter of the fish was too thick.
although the restaurant looked relatively nicer than their other locations, the food was rather disappointing at sichuan gourmet especially we drove all the way to framingham. i dont think i would return just to eat here again.
